"They managed the RTX situation quite well"
I've usually bought EVGA products from other sellers. Not on purpose -- I just always searched for the graphics card I wanted, and nearly every time, I ended up with an EVGA because they had solid reviews and were priced right.
Anyway, anyone who tried to snag an Nvidia RTX 30X0 card this year knows how tough it’s been. Retailers like Newegg and Amazon sell out in a flash, and scalpers are flipping the cards on eBay for double the price after snatching up all the stock with bots.
EVGA set up a system where you could sign up on their website to get in line for an RTX. One per customer. Because of that, I managed to score an RTX 3080 at a regular price, pretty quickly (I’ll admit, I signed up fast).
There was even a hiccup with my account the day I got the alert (you get about a 12-hour window from the email notification to finalize your purchase, given the high demand), so I reached out to their customer support, and they were super helpful and friendly.
In the end, I got my card, and everything turned out great.
I really appreciate how they genuinely cared about giving their customers a fair shot at getting a card, rather than just focusing on making that initial sale and then forgetting about it.
Awesome company.

"The struggle was definitely real"
I just got myself an RTX xc3 ultra 3080 using the queue system at EVGA. I gotta say, I'm really happy with how everything turned out. Big shout out to the whole community for being awesome. Thanks a ton, and may the RTX Gods bless you all!
